Terms of sale

1. Seller

The website bystorymum.com (the "Site") is published by Samia Belkolli EI, sole trader (micro-entreprise), registered at 9 rue Henri Barbusse, 13090 Aix-en-Provence, France, listed in the French National Business Register under SIRET 899 013 957 00019, VAT not applicable under article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. Contact: contact@bystorymum.com.

2. Scope

These terms govern sales concluded on the Site between the Seller and any individual acting as a consumer (the "Customer"). Placing an order implies unreserved acceptance of these terms. Sales are limited to deliveries in mainland France, Belgium and the other countries of the European Union. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version of these terms prevails.

3. Products

Pieces are offered in limited quantities, while stocks last, and are never restocked. Photographs and descriptions are as accurate as possible; slight colour variations may occur depending on the screen.

4. Prices

Prices are shown in euros, VAT not applicable (article 293 B of the French General Tax Code), excluding delivery costs. Delivery costs are shown before the order is confirmed. The Seller may change prices at any time; the applicable price is the one displayed when the order is placed.

5. Orders

The order is confirmed once payment is confirmed. A summary email is sent to the Customer. The Seller may cancel any order in the event of a previous dispute, suspected fraud or product unavailability; the Customer is then refunded in full.

6. Payment

Payment is made online using the methods offered at checkout, through a secure platform. The Seller never has access to bank details.

7. Delivery

Delivery terms, times and rates are detailed in the shipping policy. If a parcel is damaged, the Customer records reservations with the carrier and contacts the Seller within 48 hours.

8. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has 14 days from receipt to withdraw, without giving any reason. The Seller extends this period to 30 days. The terms are detailed in the returns policy; the Customer may use the withdrawal form or any unambiguous statement. The Seller refunds all sums paid, including the original delivery costs, no later than 14 days after the withdrawal, using the same payment method; the refund may be withheld until the goods are received. The Customer returns the goods no later than 14 days after withdrawing; the direct costs of returning the goods are borne by the Customer, unless the goods are faulty or non-conforming.

9. Legal guarantees

Products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). The Customer has two years from delivery to act under the guarantee of conformity.

10. Personal data

Data collected is processed in accordance with the privacy policy.

11. Customer reviews

After each shipped order, the Customer receives an email inviting her to review the piece purchased (Judge.me service). A review can also be left from the product page; reviews resulting from an order are marked as verified.

Reviews are published without prior moderation, with their date, and are not rewarded in any way. The Seller may reply to them. The Seller only removes reviews that are abusive, defamatory, unrelated to the piece or unlawful, never a review simply because it is negative. Anyone can report a review to contact@bystorymum.com.

12. Disputes

In the event of a dispute, the Customer can contact the Seller at contact@bystorymum.com. These terms are governed by French law; a Customer residing in another European Union country keeps the protection of the mandatory provisions of her country of residence.
